In this role, you will be expected to design, develop and support mobile applications that run on various mobile platforms, using your passion and creativity to develop cutting-edge mobile experiences for IEEE’s vast customer base.
As a member of our dynamic IT Strategy and Enabling Technologies (ITSET) team, you will be afforded the opportunity to broaden your professional horizon by participating in technology-driven innovation, workplace digitalization, mobile presence enablement, enterprise architecture, and technology standardization/rationalization activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Certification in relevant mobile technologies preferred
- Up to 2 years of recent, related experience (in academic and/or industry environments) preferred
- Knowledge of at least one mobile applications development platform such as Android, iOS and/or Hybrid Mobile development stacks
- Hands-on experience implementing front-end applications using JavaScript (jQuery/Angular/ReactJS/Backbone), HTML5 and CSS3 technologies preferred
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity in implementation of continuous build and delivery of mobile applications preferred
