Are you an exceptionally organized writer with meticulous attention to detail? MMI is seeking a copy editor to help our team create compelling copy that adheres to each of our brand’s specific guidelines. Your primary duties will include understanding and implementing content strategies for various brands, proofreading and editing our copywriters, and collaborating with the wider team to deliver quality projects in a timely manner.


    • Review and revise copy for accuracy and quality, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax
    • Ensuring copywriters have implemented correct tone, voice, clarity, flow, and structure, referencing brand style guides when available
    • Communication with production team to ensure content is published on time
    • Excellent command of AP Style and Chicago Style
    • Ability to proof and edit both short form content (social, emails) and long form content (articles, decks)
    • Compile and update style guides
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
    • Knowledge of the latest media trends and content best practices
    • Familiarity with SEO best practices


    • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, writing, or related field
    • Minimum of 2 years as a Copy Editor, preferably in an agency setting
    • Excellent written English, including impeccable spelling and grammar
    • A meticulous approach to your work and an eye for detail
    • Judgement in applying house style
    • Comfort with constructively critiquing teammates’ writing
    • Ability to retain intended voice after editing
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
