Position Description
Performs varied and complex administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and/or program. Requires independent judgment and application of established policies and procedures. Works under general supervision with evaluation based on overall results obtained.
Major/Essential Functions
Coordinate, administer, and evaluate activities for Raider Red’s Food Pantry. Manages, assigns, and responds to reports submitted via Maxient. Develop outreach/education materials, programs, presentations, etc to educate students on available services and resources.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Three years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Services/Life; Social Work, or equivalent area. Experience working with community or social services agencies. Demonstrated experience in professional associations related to student basic needs, student affairs, financial education, etc. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals from a variety of economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, physical and mental abilities, and sexual orientations. Knowledge of college student populations, social services, and financial education programs. Awareness of methods to advocate for students and connect students to available campus and community resources. Knowledge of college student volunteers and organization advisement, training, recruitment, selection, and recognition. Knowledge of other student success/student affairs/student life departments and services.
